Soccer Player Aaron Ramsey Boosts Incentive for Lost Dog in Mexico to $$20k
Wales football star Ramsey has increased the reward for leads about the lost dog named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who now plays for Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of where she was last seen.
"Any sort of news concerning our beloved Halo please get in touch with us. Big reward for locating her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and comes home to our family shortly," the athlete posted on social media.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey first revealed that his dog had disappeared 14 days prior and has since uploaded multiple photos of the cherished canine on his social media account.
A $ten thousand dollar bounty was initially offered, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a seven days, the player and his loved ones raised the sum.
"All we desire is Halo home," he said in a further appeal on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet was lost.
The most recent image share is a black and white image of the beagle sleeping, its head resting in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the message: "What I wouldn't give to hold you again sweet Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
Ramsey has also shared a message from his spouse Colleen on social media indicating they have several "pressing queries" regarding the event and worry the family "may never obtain answers".
"We have yet to have not located our dog. I don't think we will," the spouse's message stated.
The Welsh leader became part of Mexican premier team Club Universidad Nacional recently and had his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly footballer is the initial well-known British Isles player to participate in the Mexico's top division.
